== Contexto ==


Las '''elecciones federales de Sia de 2049''' se celebraron para elegir a las 14.ª Cortes Generales de la República Federal de Sia. Estaban en juego los 709 escaños del [[Parlamento Federal]], requiriéndose una mayoría absoluta de 355 escaños para la formación de gobierno.

Los resultados arrojaron un escenario de máxima igualdad y un empate histórico en la primera posición. La coalición '''PDE-LRO-CXS''', liderada por Mercedé de Santaveneno Milá, experimentó una subida espectacular de 96 escaños, empatando a 167 representantes con el '''PNP''' de Francisco Primo de Rivera, que sufrió un duro retroceso respecto a sus resultados anteriores. No obstante, el PDE logró imponerse ligeramente en el voto popular. 

Por su parte, la formación demócrata cristiana '''DC-SL''' de Jean Marshall logró consolidar una tercera posición con 125 escaños, lo que resultó clave en la aritmética parlamentaria posterior, permitiendo que [[Montellini Roures]] revalidara la presidencia del país. Destacó también la entrada con fuerza de la nueva formación '''SEPI''' bajo el liderazgo de Josep Brou, obteniendo 42 asientos en el hemiciclo.
